Classes for Court Referrals, Employees, Family or Self-referred
Clients
The anger management classes provide education for people who are interested in or who need to learn how to deal with their anger or someone else’s anger in a positive, functional way. Participants may include people who internalize anger as well as those who act it out verbally or behaviorally towards friends, family, work or personal relationships. The Anger Management Curriculum used is the only curriculum that has been approved by the California State Board of Corrections for training of Parole Agents, Probation Officers, and Correction Officers in California. It is currently being used by the Los Angeles District of the United States Postal Service in its Employee Assistance Program to reduce interpersonal conflict as well as the Los Angeles Airport Police Department. A number of Colleges and Universities have adopted it for use with students referred for disciplinary infractions by the Deans of Student Services. The Anderson & Anderson anger management curriculum is the most widely recognized curriculum in the world. Currently, Certified Facilitators are using this model in Italy, the Philippines, Canada, England, Scotland, Mexico, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Korea and thirty states in the U.S. |
